Skills and Experience

In my corporate career, I designed and delivered hundreds of workshops and presentations to hard-to-impress audiences including lawyers, accountants, facilitators, trainers, coaches, senior managers and professionals in the world’s elite financial institutions.

I designed and delivered workshops in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, the United States, Canada and Europe.

I worked with senior leaders, with support staff, with CEOs, with secretaries, with lawyers, with planners, with accountants and auditors. I worked with management consultants, with facilitators, with trainers, with coaches, with HR professionals, with marketing and IT and finance staff.

I worked with a lot of people. And for the most part, I loved every minute of it.

Some Brief Background

I started my corporate life in Sydney holding down two jobs: one as a research assistant at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and the other as an evening weekend receptionist (and responder to calls of both the crank and legitimate variety) at Network Ten, one of Australia’s largest free-to-air commercial television networks. During that time, I got a third job, marking third year assignments in the School of Marketing at the University of New South Wales. That was a busy time!

After that, I was recruited and worked for 6 years for accounting and advisory giant, Deloitte. I held key consulting roles on multi-phase, multi-million dollars IT projects all around Australia which was very challenging and in many ways made me what I am as a professional.

During my 6 years with Deloitte, I also held a global role as a subject matter expert reporting to the global partner for Change Leadership based in Ottawa Canada; this role was primarily to support practitioners and clients in project implementation.
